What is brain mapping?

QEEG brain mapping is a method of looking directly at the electrical activity of the brain. Research over the last 10 years has shown that this method of monitoring brain wave patterns is an effective tool for exploring a wide range of physical and mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorder, and much more!

How does brain mapping work?

Your brain uses several gears or waves for all the activities it performs. Think of a manual car that uses gears to perform operations.  If you look at brain wave activity you see the brain uses different waves to perform functions.  During sleep, in various types of concentration, or in relaxed states you can see the brain in different settings.

The brain mapping process uses sophisticated technology, but the actual brain mapping session only takes about 20-30 minutes and requires very little from clients. You’ll sit in a comfortable chair, relax, and let the computer do the work for you. Nothing will go into your body it is picking up a simple read such as with a heart rate monitor. Afterward, we’ll sit together and discuss the results of the brain map and possible options moving forward. Many people just get a map for research, self-interest, or learning.
